At Fidelity Bank, we want to make sure you're aware of "phishing" scams that can put you at risk. Phishing is a term used to describe a technique that gains your personal information. These emails may appear to come from Fidelity Bank and may even contain images that look like our logo. They're spefically designed to mislead you into providing personal information like account numbers, PIN numbers and social security numbers. These fradulent emails often state your attention is needed immediately and provide a link to a page where you're asked to enter your personal information.

Fidelity Bank will NEVER send you an email requesting your personal information.

By following the tips below, you can help to protect yourself again phishing scams:

  • Never respond to any messages requesting personal financial information
  • Use anti- virus software on your computer
  • Always look for "https://" and the padlock symbol when you're on a website where you need to enter personal information like your credit card. These symbols indicate that the website is legitimate
  • Check and monitor your credit report regularly
  • Educate yourself about fraud and scams going on in national and local news
  • Do not be intimidated by emails that threaten termination of service if you do not comply with requests
  • Never click on hyperlinks within an email if you think it's fraudulent or you do not know the sender
  • Delete an email before opening it if you're unfamiliar with or don't know who sent it
