Meet the Team

James O’Brien is Vice President and Trust Officer at Fidelity Bank Wealth Management at our Minersville, Pennsylvania office. Jim joined the Fidelity Wealth Management Team in April of 2017 when Fidelity Bank acquired the Trust Department of The Gratz Bank. Jim has been a fixture of the Schuylkill County banking and business communities for more than 40 years. He offers our clients sound advice and guidance in the trust, banking, investment management and tax arenas while delivering an extraordinary client experience and exceptional service in the Schuylkill County market.

Jim oversees current client relationships, develops new business, and assists client with investments, planning, and taxes. Jim is a voting member of Fidelity Bank Wealth Management’s Trust Investment Strategy Committee.

Jim is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is also a graduate of American Bankers Trust School and has a Certificate from The Pennsylvania State University Income Tax workshops.

Jim is deeply involved in the community. He is an active firefighter of and treasurer for the Minersville Fire-Rescue Company, a delegate and Advisory Board Member of the Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters, an executive committee member of Holy Family Parish in Minersville, and he is a member of the Pottsville Rotary Club.

Jim and his family reside in Minersville, Pennsylvania.
